Styngr signs deal with ICE

Styngr popped onto our radar in March 2022 when it announced a licensing deal with Warner Music Group.

The startup bills itself as “the gaming arm of the recorded music industry”, helping games and virtual worlds developers integrate licensed music into their products. WMG is also one of the company’s investors.

Now Styngr has announced its latest music deal: with licensing hub ICE. It means that the more than 330,000 rightsholders who ICE represents will be able to receive publishing royalties for usage of their works by Styngr’s clients.
